Delivering independent evidence-based advice to PCTs.

We provide a comprehensive service to the Priorities Committees serving Oxfordshire, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire East and Berkshire West PCTs, as well as evidence-based advice to the Specialised Services Commissioning Group for South Central SHA area.

Our expert team of public health consultants, public health intelligence specialists, health economists, lawyers and pharmacists:

• Undertake evidence-based reviews for the introduction of new therapies, interventions suitable for disinvestment, or one-off requests for unusual treatments outside contract

• Provide detailed analysis of cost impact for PCTs and Trusts as well as outcomes for patients

• Develop and update ethical frameworks for PCT decision-making

• Provide teaching and training for PCT staff involved in commissioning and priority setting
